The Bienveillance SBH association speaks giraffe! Do you know what it’s all about?
First of all, why the giraffe? Well, it’s the biggest heart of land mammals ❤. It also has a long neck to take the necessary step back and big ears to listen better…
The concept of NVC, Non Violent Communication, is based on four “OSBD” fundamentals: Observation, Feeling, Need, Demand.
The intention of Non-Violent Communication is to create a quality relationship with yourself and with others so everyone’s basic needs can be met in a harmonious and peaceful way.
By learning and integrating this process developed by Marshall B. Rosenberg, Doctor of Clinical Psychology, it is possible, in situations of disagreement or conflict, to maintain dialogue in order to seek a creative cooperative solution.
Today, Non-Violent Communication has spread and is being taught in 60 countries.
In 2019, the association trained more than a dozen members , mainly on personal development. This year the training focuses more on “NVC at the service of education”.
On the island, many teachers have already been informed and the association supports the middle school, in particular on the project of the “club for living well together”, led by Leila Nazzal and Amandine Baron who deal with school dropout and harassment; So that parents, children, adolescents, teachers, educators, carers can blossom through constructive dialogue, and that our beautiful community becomes a haven of peace.
Workshops and training will take place from June 4 to 12, 2022
Testimony of a Parisian doctor: “NVC opened to me the door to a new perspective and a new language. I am always amazed at how well it fits into my practice as a doctor. And as I invest myself in the NVC process, I find more energy and pleasure in my work. »
Testimony of a teacher from the St. Joseph school in Lorient: “This year, we started working on emotions to learn how to be aware of them, feel them and see the correlation with needs. We have already noticed a very clear improvement in managing conflict and avoiding punishment. »
